Charmed Is Coming!

(This post has been brought to you by the efforts of my 92 charming and charmed Patrons! Visit my Patreon page to learn how to become one of them.)

As I’m sure you’re aware if you read my Tumblr… or, rather, as I’m sure you would be aware if Tumblr’s catastrophic collapse hadn’t made it much more difficult to communicate this kind of thing… I’m headed to Charmed next weekend! It’s going to be a very fun and exciting weekend of polishing up my hypnosis skills, spending time with friends and loved ones I don’t get to see in person as often as I’d like, and maybe doing a little tranceplay with one or two folks. I’m looking forward to it a lot.

I don’t really have a whole lot on the agenda as a presenter this year; I’m going to be taking part in the erotica reading on Saturday night from 9 PM to whenever, and I’ll probably bring some of my new material that hasn’t been released anywhere (I’ve got a new story featuring the long-awaited rematch between Sangria and WildRose, so that might be my first pick). Also, I’m providing reading material for the Hysterical Literature event in the previous slot, which may interest some folks as well. On Sunday, I’m planning to put up a suggestion for an unconference slot on brainwashing mantras and how to build them, and Sunday afternoon at 4:30 I’m co-presenting with Jennifer Kohl and The Secret Subject on how to grow a Patreon.

I will be trying to live-tweet any panels that I have permission to live-tweet, using the hashtag “#charmed19”; however, that is entirely subject to the enthusiastic consent of the presenter and anyone’s privacy concerns, so there may be times when I go a little quiet. I love the con, I want everyone who’s not attending to have access to as much useful information as they can get, but the security and comfort of the attendees always takes primacy in this kind of situation. The same holds true of any kind of convention recaps – if I’m not able to tell my stories without sharing other people’s private memories, it’s going to stay at the con.

Which is just one more reason for everyone reading this to come to next year’s Charmed, right? Right.
