Four Weeks of Hypnosis, Part Four

December 29, 2019

(This post has been brought to you by the efforts of my 135 creative and intelligent Patrons! Visit my Patreon page to learn how to become one of them.)

As mentioned previously, Tofuhypno has posed thirty questions about hypnosis which people are supposed to answer at the rate of one per day this December. I’m answering them by week instead of by day, and since it seems kind of silly to leave just one for next week, let’s get on to the grand finale, shall we?

Day 23: Storytime: What was the most unexpected turn-on you ever experienced with hypnosis? (if you haven’t experienced it yet, write a story about the topic)

Hmm. I’d have to say that the first time I got hypnotic amnesia to work with a subject, I was surprised at how intense the rush was. There’s something very tangible about the feeling of dominance you get when your submissive literally finds themselves unable to think about something without your permission, and that moment where they reach the tipping point between “of course I know this” and “but it’ll feel so good to forget it”… and slide right over… yes. That’s yummy. If you’re someone who feels like you can’t do this, as a subject or a hypnotist, keep working on it! It’s worth the extra effort. (See also below.)

Day 24: Storytime: There is a lot to learn with hypnosis. Share one of your favorite things you learned in hypnosis and how it has impacted your experience with hypnosis (if you haven’t experienced it yet, write a story about the topic)

Oddly enough, in what’s going to become something of a theme today, hypnotic amnesia tops the list! This was something I’d never really thought I could do, but when I had a sub who really wanted to experience it and was willing to put in the time and effort to practice it with me, I upped my game and did some extra study (again, see below). It was hugely, hugely worth it and it made hypnosis a lot more fun. Not only are the sessions themselves very interesting, but it means you can negotiate scenes that include amnesia about the negotiations you had. If you want to do that “surprise” scene, but you also want to be considerate and consensual, the best way to handle it is with an amnesia suggestion.

Day 25: Storytime: Share a story of someone you had a hard time working with (no names!) and how you handled that situation. (if you haven’t experienced it yet, write a story about the topic)

I don’t necessarily know that this story is mine to tell, sorry. I will say that most of the people labeled as “difficult subjects” are really either people who haven’t had good expectations set for them and don’t necessarily realize that what they’re experiencing is a trance state, or people working with hypnotists who have a very limited toolkit and don’t know many techniques, and they just haven’t found the one that works for them. Often, once you find the induction that connects with their style of learning and processing information, the “difficult subject” is really the easiest person in the world to hypnotize.

Day 26: Is there a book you would recommend to a subject or hypnotist that you feel would help a person with hypnosis and why?

And here we are below! ‘Hypnotic Amnesia’, by Lee Allure and DJ Pynchon, is an absolute must-have for the bookshelf of any hypnotist who’s even remotely interested in hypnotic amnesia. (And see above for why that should be everyone.) It’s got a number of different techniques, explanations of how they work and why, and a narrative of the subject’s journey for anyone who feels like this isn’t going to be possible for them. It’s good to read from both sides of the watch, and there are a few funny moments in there as well.

(Full disclosure: I’ve known both individuals for years, chat with them online fairly often, and see them occasionally at conventions. They did not compensate me for this plug in any way, nor even request it. They’re probably going to be very surprised when they see this.)

Day 27: We might have all asked before about what we want to do when doing hypnosis. Do you have a list of things you like or dislike? Sometimes we have a hard time thinking of everything on the spot. Why not write the list here for everyone to know!

What, all of them? Like, every single one? I think there are probably space limits or something.

No, in all seriousness, what I love about hypnosis – what I really love, setting the details aside of particular enjoyable sessions and suggestions – is the feeling of rapport, the sense that you and your partner are connected on a powerful mental and emotional level and you’re in some sense inside each other’s head feeling each other’s energy and enthusiasm. My ideal session is going to be different for every partner, long-term or casual, because it’s created within the space that we set and the joy that we create in each other. The same thing that absolutely charges me with sexual excitement with one partner would be utterly uninteresting with another, because they’re not into it. Being able to create a shared atmosphere of mutual happiness is my one-item list, and everything else comes out of that.

Day 28: What would you tell a new hypnotist/subject who is wanting to explore hypnosis? What advice would you give them to start out on this journey?

It is vitally important to have trust with your partner at every step of the way, and trust starts with being trustworthy. Be someone good and caring, and only give yourself to someone who’s good and caring in return.

Day 29: What is your deepest fantasy with hypnosis? What is your dream session?

Again, I don’t feel like I have a single “deepest fantasy” or “dream session”. Some of the things I’m currently doing as a hypnotist are things I had no interest in five years ago, but that’s just because I never met someone who had passion for them. Once I saw and understood their excitement, I was able to find my own way into it. That back-and-forth, that collaborative energy, it’s really more important than having a hypnosis ‘bucket list’. It is never about what you do, it’s about who you’re doing it with.

(This is also a good tip for preventing an unfortunate problem in our community, the “trance dispenser” issue. If you’re thinking, “This is my dream hypnosis session” as your first and foremost goal, it’s very easy to think of the person on the other end as less important than the service they’re providing. That’s not to say that you shouldn’t talk about the things you enjoy, or even ask for them, but always remember that the person on the other end, top or bottom, is not merely a passive receptacle for your fantasies. They’re a person.)

(Unless they’re a puppy, a sex doll, or a piece of furniture, but that’s something you negotiate in advance.)

Day 30: After all these questions about hypnosis, how do you feel about your journey with hypnosis?

Pretty darn good! Thanks for asking.

And that’s all thirty days! I’m sure something like this will happen next year, and I’ll be back to my regular blogging schedule next week. See you then!

Early Bird Sneak Peek: “Keep Your Eyes Open”!

December 27, 2019

Hi all! It’s time for another Early Bird Sneak Peek, where I share a glimpse at the story my lucky Early Bird patrons will be enjoying next Saturday thanks to their pledges at my Patreon page! Of course, if you’re not an Early Bird patron, you’ll still get a story next week–“Pink Cloud”, teased previously, has already been submitted to the EMCSA. But the Early Bird patrons will be getting “Keep Your Eyes Open” (MC MF MD)!

Detective Erica Chou has her suspicions about the improbably bizarre kidnapping attempt concocted by Annie Ginsburg. She doesn’t think that a respectable college professor would involve herself in human trafficking, and she especially doesn’t think that she would come up with a defense for her behavior as hare-brained as amnesia. But her suspicions don’t amount to evidence, not unless she can trick Annie’s arrogant hypnotherapist into confessing his role in the crime. But has Erica bitten off more than she can chew? Here’s a taste:

Sure enough, his expression became warm and affable again as he took a pocket watch out of his desk drawer. “It’s not a problem,” he said cheerfully, letting the burnished metal disc hang down from his fingers on its chain. “Oh, don’t be surprised,” he chuckled, seeing Erica’s bemused reaction. “You’d be amazed how many of my clients want ‘the real thing’.”

He began to swing it lazily from side to side as he went on, giving it just the slightest amount of momentum with his wrist. “And no, you almost certainly couldn’t use this to reshape someone’s entire mind and personality in just one session. Hypnosis has its limits, I’m not about to argue otherwise. But it also has more power than most people realize, and that power only grows stronger with time. The longer Annie spent under the influence of this hypnotist, the easier it would have been to control her.” It was as good as a confession, but Doctor Ling apparently didn’t realize it.

Erica frowned, drawing herself up a little in her chair as if she suddenly felt uncomfortable with the line of conversation. (Doctor Ling wasn’t the only person who studied body language.) “But, I mean… surely she would have noticed something, right? Even if, um.” She paused, biting back the ‘you’ that was already on the tip of her tongue. “Even if this guy was leading her step by step over the line from ‘watch the watch’ to ‘kidnap an eighteen year old law student’, there would have to be a point where she rebelled.”

“There very probably was,” Doctor Ling agreed, accidentally sending the watch in a wide arc as he shrugged nonchalantly. “But another misconception–indeed, one of the most dangerous misconceptions for the layperson–is the idea that the hypnotist has no methods for overcoming active resistance. If you think you’re immune to hypnosis simply because you’re on your guard, Detective Chou, you’ve made a very real mistake.”

Hope you enjoy it!

Four Weeks of Hypnosis, Part Three

December 22, 2019

(This post has been brought to you by the efforts of my 135 awesome and wonderful Patrons! Visit my Patreon page to learn how to become one of them.)

As mentioned previously, Tofuhypno has posed thirty questions about hypnosis which people are supposed to answer at the rate of one per day this December. I’m answering them by week instead of by day, so that you can binge-watch them instead of this bullshit “waiting” crap like they’re doing with ‘The Mandalorian’, so let’s get down to the next batch of seven!

Day 16: Do your friends and/or family know about your hypnosis activities? Is there a reason behind this choice?

The adult members of my chosen family all know, and are all hypnokinky themselves–we all submit to Lady Ru’etha, and there are occasional group trances that occur when it’s appropriate to do so along with individual hypnosis sessions. My birth family does not know, and neither do my vanilla friends, because it’s really just a conversation I don’t feel like having and I don’t think they really want to hear about my sex life.

Day 17: In a consensual situation:

Subjects: do you prefer to be aware or unaware of an impending trance?
Hypnotists: is it easier to trance an informed subject or drop them unaware?

I’ll admit, I don’t have a preference on this either as a subject or a hypnotist. Both of them have their own flavor of excitement to them, but I wouldn’t say I need to do things one way or another. Certainly the “in a consensual situation” is the very important part; dropping someone who’s not expecting it has to be very clearly spelled out in any negotiation, because there are more chances for something to go wrong (usually minor things, like being caught off guard while doing something enjoyable, but it’s possible to cause serious problems if you’re doing it over the phone or in text while the person’s in a situation where they shouldn’t go into trance).

Day 18: Has there ever been a suggestion that you either suggested or received that didn’t quite translate well? Was this a good or a bad outcome? How did it turn out?

This is a story I’ve told before, but once when Lady Ru’etha and I weren’t living in the same house, I was preparing for a visit and She suggested that I should pick up something for the trip from a local fetish store. I was working third shift then, and despite the fact that it was very clearly my bedtime, my brain interpreted that to mean “go get it right now”, and I wound up driving something like 45 minutes through downtown traffic just as a baseball game was letting out to buy an item even though the trip wasn’t for a couple of weeks. In the end, it wound up being more an amusing lesson in my susceptibility to hypnosis than anything else.

Day 19: If you could program/brainwash/be programmed/be brainwashed into anything, what would it be and why?

Oh man. That’s a door I don’t want to open. The idea of having blanket consent for anything with a sub is honestly kind of terrifying, because I don’t really know what my limits as a top would be under those circumstances. Like, I’m sure I’d have them, but I suspect that it’s probably for the best that I don’t have that kind of complete power over another person. It’d probably wind up like my story “Warm Fuzzy Feeling” or something.

As a sub… hmm. Pretty happy with what I’ve got, honestly. Just file it as “more of the same, please”.

Day 20: Time for storytime lane, First story: tell us about a hypnosis experience you haven’t had the chance to share (if you haven’t experienced it yet, write a story about the topic)

One that was very recent (just a few days ago, in fact!) involved littlejetgirl, who I’ve been playing with quite a bit lately (and who gave me permission to share this–remember, every hypnosis story is someone else’s story too!) She’s a big fan of a story of mine called “Easily Led”, and we negotiated a scene incorporating some memory play where she would ‘spontaneously’ decide to read it to me, inserting her own name in for the name of the character. But the longer she read, the more aroused and distracted she would get, and the harder it would become for her to think as a result, until she couldn’t make sense of the words anymore and she had to ask me to finish it for her while she masturbated.

She, um… she made it about four paragraphs. (I’ll admit, the cutest part was helping her sound out the big words before she went too deep to read anymore. I might incorporate that for a later session.)

Day 21: Storytime: What is your favorite surprising hypnosis experience? (if you haven’t experienced it yet, write a story about the topic)

This is another one I’ve talked about before, but one time Lady Ru’etha implanted a tactile trigger to drop me and used it at the same time She verbally counted me up out of trance. My brain simply didn’t know what to do, because I was getting two sets of conflicting instructions, and it interpreted it as “wake up, then immediately drop again that much harder”. It was one of the most profoundly deep hypnosis experiences I’ve ever ever ever had, and I got fractionated so bad I was non-verbal by the end.

Day 22: Storytime: Share a story of a hypnosis experience you regret. (if you haven’t experienced it yet, write a story about the topic)

I very definitely regret playing one time with a bad voice connection. The sub wasn’t in the right headspace for trance to begin with, but she decided to go ahead, and when she told me she needed to come up I didn’t hear her the first time because of the poor sound quality. She repeated herself and I was able to end it, but I still feel just terrible every time I think about it. It’s an important object lesson in paying attention to the practicalities of tranceplay as well as the skill aspects. Even the best hypnotist in the world can’t do a good job with their subject if you can’t hear each other.

And on that slightly depressing note, we end the week! Join us next week for the thrilling conclusion! (I’ll just add in the last few days worth in advance.)

Early Bird Sneak Peek: “Chant of the Ever-Circling Skeletal Family”!

December 19, 2019

Hi all! It’s time for another Early Bird Sneak Peek, where I share a glimpse at the story my lucky Early Bird patrons will be enjoying next Saturday thanks to their pledges at my Patreon page! Of course, if you’re not an Early Bird patron, you’ll still get a story next week–“I’m Coming 4 U”, teased moments ago, has already been submitted to the EMCSA. But the Early Bird patrons will be getting “Chant of the Ever-Circling Skeletal Family” (MC)!

Lena’s been running for five years, ever since her research into the occult attracted the strange and terrifying attentions of the Skeletal Family. They’ve been chasing her ever since… and tonight, the circle finally closes around her. Here’s a taste:

When she got out to the street, Lena kept right on running, praying to whatever deities had protected her so far that there wasn’t a car coming. She was in luck; Copper Basin wasn’t exactly the kind of town that had heavy traffic at night. She sprinted across the street and stumbled along the sidewalk, the voice of the Family following in her ears. “…ut suscipat te, dicimus tibi cum spiritu pietatis…” She told herself not to listen. But she didn’t listen to herself.

The fog was getting thicker now, turning the familiar landmarks Lena had spent months getting to know into vague, menacing shapes. The chant came out of the mist from all directions, one voice after another joining in with, “Tu exaudies nos, et morari, ubi vos vires existo instituo.” She couldn’t tell whether it was just the weird acoustics of the shrouded night playing tricks on her ears, or whether they were circling in on her, closing in from all sides, ready to end their pursuit once and for all.

Lena decided not to wait to find out. At the next storefront, she stopped just long enough to bind up her long, dark, curly hair into a ponytail before pulling her way up and onto the awning that just about every business in Copper Basin used to keep the desert sun at bay. From there, she carefully scooted over to the nearest window sill and pulled herself upright, then reached for the window above it. The whole time, she tried to picture one of the Family climbing after her with their gaunt limbs and heavy velvet robes. It seemed impossible. She hoped it was.

Hope you enjoy it!

Sneak Peek: “I’m Coming 4 U”!

December 19, 2019

As occasionally happens from time to time, I seem to have unaccountably failed to put up a sneak peek of the story that’s going to the EMCSA this week. So here’s a sneak peek for that story, “I’m Coming 4 U”! This is the penultimate story in the saga of Service Unit 4U and her part in the war for control of the perfect mind control technology, and in it she’s forced to finally confront the moment in her past when she was unwillingly transformed from Haley Keene into a brainwashed slave of the MKPerfect Corporation. And with it, her awareness of her own programming. Here’s a taste:

It really shouldn’t surprise me that the infallible, irresistible, unbreakable, irreversible programming of the MKPerfect Corporation has an escape clause. It does surprise me, of course, because I was subject to that perfect conditioning and one of the most important ways to keep someone from breaking your mental control is to make them believe that escape is impossible. The last thing you want to do is let your slave think about ways to free themselves from your inexorable brainwashing. I was certain it was impossible because I was commanded to be certain. Everything I believe as Service Unit 4U is true, even the things I know to be false.

But with the expanded perspective that’s filling my brain now, it seems obvious that you would want a way to unwind the complex series of directives and commands that turn ordinary human beings into perfectly programmed service units. As much as I’ve always thought of the Directors as incapable of error or mistake, I’ve also spent enough time fixing problems caused by their decisions to know when I’m simply accepting a truth that’s been provided to me. The intense, irresistible pleasure of believing what I’ve been commanded to believe always bridged that gap, but the truth–the true truth–is obvious to me now.

If the Directors kidnapped and brainwashed a target who was supposed to be off-limits–not that anyone’s off-limits as far as the new Director is concerned, but that wasn’t always the case–they’d need a way to undo that mistake. A trigger that would unpack all of the secret structures inside the slave’s mind and erase them, along with the memories of their installation, leaving them once again the normal person they were before with no memories of the service unit that once took up residence in their brain. A trigger that they were constrained from even thinking about, but that could be activated easily and effortlessly by their Master.

A trigger like, “Do you remember what happened the day we recruited you, Service Unit 4U?”

Hope you enjoy it!

Four Weeks of Hypnosis, Part Two

December 15, 2019

(This post has been brought to you by the efforts of my 133 sweet and kind Patrons! Visit my Patreon page to learn how to become one of them.)

As mentioned last week, Tofuhypno has posed thirty questions about hypnosis which people are supposed to answer at the rate of one per day this December. Since I’ve got a weekly blog and I’m already writing something like 1100 words a day for my Tumblr, I just decided to answer them here in big batches and crosspost it when I’m done. Nobody seemed to mind last week, so let’s look at this week’s questions!

Day 9: We all talk about the drop, but what about the wake up? Do you like to take your time bringing a person up? Or are you quick about it? As a subject, please tell me the effects on slow to fast wake ups, please.

In general, I think it’s important to take your time waking someone up. A little bit of preparation – not just a count up, but an actual statement of, “And now it’s time to begin coming back, rising up out of trance,” or something similar, really makes the difference between a pleasant experience and an unpleasant, jarring sensation that’s going to wreck your whole day. It’s part of aftercare, and should be treated as such.

The one exception being fractionation. Once you get someone good and fractionated, they need progressively less guidance in crossing that boundary between trance and waking because they don’t really know where it is anyway. If you’re fractionating someone, all bets are off and just saying, “Sleep. Wake. Sleep. Wake. Sleep. Wake. Sleep…” is entirely on the table. (Um. Not that I speak from experience here.)

Day 10: What is your criteria for a Hypnotist or Subject? What makes you want to try hypnosis with them? Does gender matter?

I have to like them. More and more, I’m becoming comfortable with applying the label “demisexual” to myself, because I’ve kind of hit that ‘a-ha!’ moment of realizing that demisexuality doesn’t mean I have to have a long courtship or get to know someone intimately as a friend before I consider doing sexy trance things with them. It means I have to have that spark of connection, that feeling that yes, this person is someone I understand who understands me and there’s a feeling of rightness and comfort with them that I don’t have with strangers. When I’m with someone I want to hypnotize or be hypnotized by, I get that feeling very very fast. I don’t even know if I can explain it – it’s just that our energies mesh.

Does gender matter? I honestly don’t know. I’ve certainly felt that connection less with men than with women, but… look, I don’t want to be a jerk about it, but one of the things that’s a huge turn-off for me is being pushy or demanding and my gender is a fucking tire fire of toxic entitlement. It’s possible that I haven’t had many good experiences with guys because there are always a swarm of dudes in the kink scene who see everyone around them as nothing more than a receptacle for their entirely one-sided wank fantasies, being shitty and wrecking it for everyone unfortunate enough to interact with them. (Sorry. Just saw two more posts today from women considering walking away from the scene because some asshole couldn’t treat them with basic respect and human decency, and that crap always upsets me. Just… don’t be an asshole, okay?)

Day 11: Do you like to work with multiple people? Or would you prefer that you work with one person and only one person? Would you like your partner(s) to work with other people or work only with you?

I’m polyamorous, and pretty much most of my partners and my partners’ partners are into hypnokink, so I’ve gotten comfortable with multiple people on both sides of the watch. I’ve never done a group trance, but I’ve been hypnotized as part of a group on several occasions, and I’d certainly never restrict the people my partners could work with.

(That was easy!)

Day 12: Do you prefer a long term relationship? Or would you rather have a short term one? And what are your reasons behind your choice? (What is long/short term to you?)

I do prefer a longer relationship, because my biggest hot button is ethical brainwashing, and it’s so nice to spend months or years with the same person and watch them become more responsive to triggers and anchors and suggestions as they become more comfortable with their surrender. (Or, in the case of Lady Ru’etha, watching myself become more responsive.) It’s not even about “doing something” with that brainwashing so much as it is that knowledge that hey, yes, this little tiny change like wearing a bracelet that’s actually a cat collar is really down to hypnosis. That’s some powerful stuff.

And long term is… I mean, it’s as long as they’ll let me stick around, if it’s someone I really like. Lady Ru’etha and I have known each other for about 19 years now (probably almost exactly – our relationship began when She sent me fanmail on something I wrote on December 17th, 2000, and She didn’t send it long after I wrote it). Once I find someone who has that spark, it feels like forever isn’t long enough.

Day 13: How do you suggest a negotiation? ………. Strike that. Reverse it. Thank you. (How do you negotiate a suggestion?)

I say, “Hey, I had this idea for something that I thought might turn you on. What if we did…” and then I tell them my idea. And sometimes the answer is “yes and”, and sometimes the answer is “yes but”, and sometimes the answer is “maybe if”, and sometimes the answer is “no because”, and sometimes the answer is just “no”. And those are all good answers and I accept them on their own terms, because when you’re playing with someone fun, there’s always something else to do with them if they’re not interested in one particular thing.

Day 14: 14 is my lucky number, and Imitation is the highest form of flattery. I am curious, is there something that has influenced your experience with hypnosis? Is there a hypnotist or subject that you seek to imitate? Is there some media you seen that you emulate?

Lady Ru’etha, Lady Ru’etha, Lady Ru’etha, Lady Ru’etha. She is the first hypnotist whose live voice I ever went under for, She is the first person who hypnotized me face to face, and She is the person whose techniques, patter and approach to trance informs me most. And I really hope I make any subs I play with as happy as She makes me.

Day 15: It is half time my folks, time for a slight hypno breather (careful with the deep breaths, we don’t want anyone dropping. There are more questions to answer). What are some of your hobbies that correlate with hypnosis?

…writing mind control smut? More seriously, I’d say that playing video games is a very trancey experience. There’s a lot of deep focus, a lot of cutting out distractions, a lot of repetition to create a pattern of behavior and a lot of staring very intently at patterns on screens. It’s not a coincidence that I have some stories that are literally just, “Person X gets hypnotized without realizing it while playing a video game,” because they’re really similar experiences. A lot of people describe trance as like getting lost in a good book or a movie, but I think video games are an even better analogy, because something like Tetris doesn’t have a narrative for you to follow. It’s just a pure thought-stopper. Find brick, turn brick, drop brick, and everything else just fades away.

Um, is it hot in here? It’s probably just hot in here. Anyway, join me next week for the next seven questions!

Early Bird Sneak Peek: “The Ultimate Vacation”!

December 11, 2019

Hi all! It’s time for another Early Bird Sneak Peek, where I share a glimpse at the story my lucky Early Bird patrons will be enjoying next Saturday thanks to their pledges at my Patreon page! Of course, if you’re not an Early Bird patron, you’ll still get a story next week–“Unaffected”, teased previously, has already been submitted to the EMCSA. But the Early Bird patrons will be getting “The Ultimate Vacation” (MC MF FF MD FD)!

When Katie noticed the kiosk in the mall food court, offering an all-expenses paid trip to a tropical resort, she entered her name because, well… who wouldn’t? But she didn’t know that she was setting a course of events into motion that would… ultimately… change her whole life. Here’s a taste:

She was a little bit surprised to receive a thick manilla envelope in the mail just days later, with a sheaf of paperwork to fill out in order to receive her free trip. Once she read the first page, though, Katie understood exactly why she had beaten the odds so easily; Siesta Travel’s ‘free’ vacation was only free for one person. If you wanted to bring a spouse, a boyfriend, a girlfriend or even a best friend, they would have to purchase additional tickets at a rate so exorbitant that it would probably be cheaper simply to buy two packages elsewhere. This was a vacation for singles and suckers only, it seemed… but that didn’t deter Katie. She plunged into filling out the forms with enthusiastic determination.

(The cock slides out from between Katie’s lips, the man’s discipline no match for Katie’s enthusiastic determination to milk every last drop of cum out of his balls. Another slides in to replace it, and Katie’s semen-smeared lips eagerly wrap around it. Sometimes she has men lined up five or six deep to fuck her face, but she doesn’t stop even when her chin is soaked with saliva and pearly fluid. She only stops when she’s told.)

The paperwork went on for pages, its unending demands for information clearly just one more way of dissuading people from redeeming their free trip, but Siesta Travel reckoned without Katie’s patience and attention to detail. She tirelessly entered her Social Security number, checked every authorization box for background checks and liability releases, filled in all the information from the passport she’d obtained months ago, and signed and initialed the bottom of every page. She went over each form carefully, determined not to give them an excuse to refuse her–by this point, it was as much a challenge as an opportunity, and Katie refused to back down from any challenge.

(She’s anything but strong-willed now, though. Her mind has softened into liquid bliss, and she eagerly takes another cock in her soaking cunt when it’s presented to her with a mewl of pleasure that’s both genuine and completely conditioned. The bright, perceptive young woman who filled out those forms is utterly absent, now, washed away in a tide of ecstasy that leaves only blank, endless euphoria behind.)

Hope you enjoy it!

Four Weeks of Hypnosis, Part One

December 8, 2019

(This post has been brought to you by the efforts of my 131 elegant and intelligent Patrons! Visit my Patreon page to learn how to become one of them.)

There’s a post going around Tumblr, started by Tofuhypno, which poses thirty questions about hypnosis which people are supposed to answer at the rate of one per day this December. I’m terrible at following instructions, but I do like the questions and I think it’s a fun idea, so I’m just going to do them as blog posts and answer them in chunks so I don’t have to come up with ideas for posts this month so I can enlighten and edify you, my reading public! Let’s get started, shall we?

Day 1: What was the final push that got you into hypnosis or got you doing hypnosis?

Really, it was meeting actual hypnotists. I’d been reading about mind control on the EMCSA pretty much since the site started, but it’s got a ton of disclaimers about “this is all fantasy” and “none of this is possible in real life”, so I just sort of assumed that erotic hypnosis wasn’t a thing real people did with each other. Then I found some websites with recordings (I think the first was Krystal Mesmer, who I don’t believe is around anymore) and started chatting with real hypnotists, and it was just sort of, “Oh. Oh.

Day 2: How long have you been doing hypnosis for? Are you a Hypnotist? Are you a subject? Or are you both (a switch)? If you have not experienced hypnosis before, which role do you want to try and why?

I have performed both the role of hypnotist and subject – I’ll be honest, I think that the hypnotist enters a light trance pretty much by definition whenever they induce someone. They’re focused on their subject and their role in the process, and they’re (hopefully) feeling comfortable and relaxed as well. Relaxation and concentration is most of hypnosis right there. They’re essentially hypnotizing themselves into acting the part of a hypnotist, and I think understanding that (and being a subject not infrequently) improves your skills with the watch.

Day 3: Let’s talk about your first time! How did it feel to trance your first person? How did it feel to be tranced for the first time? If you haven’t done either, how would you like your first time to go?

I wrote a story that was pretty much a direct account of this, “Feels Like the First Time”. The names have been changed, and there’s a little bit of poetic license towards the end, where it’s revealed to be a hypnotically-induced flashback (Goddess has never actually made me relive the memory) but other than that, this was about as realistic and accurate as I could make it.

As for my first time hypnotizing someone… it was as a submissive, which probably sounds odd to a lot of people, but “hypnosis as service” is a valuable and important concept and should really be more normalized in our community. Dominants are allowed to receive pleasure as their due, and hypnosis is always a pleasant thing to do, so why not have your sub hypnotize you if they’ve got the skills? I don’t have specific memories of the session, other than just wanting to make sure I got it right and trying very hard not to get sucked under along with my Goddess. (I, um… got better at that over the years.)

Day 4: What is your favorite trigger or suggestion to give or receive and why?

This has probably changed a bit over the years, but I do love the triggers that make someone do something without realizing they’re doing it. There’s a real rush of erotic power in watching someone follow a post-hypnotic command without any conscious awareness of it on their part, a sense of ‘yes, this person is genuinely doing something that I made them do with my mesmeric abilities and I have control of their mind’, plus it’s extremely hot when you finally point it out to them and they get that exact same dawning awareness of their lack of control. (fans self) It’s, um… nice.

Day 5: Word of the day is safety. What kinds of safeties/precautions do you use when doing hypnosis and why do you use these safeties/precautions?

There are a lot. Like, the first trance I do with anyone is pretty much talking through safety suggestions. First and foremost, I stress that my suggestions only take effect “when you are safe and comfortable” following them. I offer them the opportunity to generalize that to any hypnotist, because I think it’s good practice, but I make sure the subject knows that they can always reject a suggestion they genuinely don’t feel happy with and that they don’t have to follow a command or instruction if the context isn’t appropriate. (Like, say, dropping to a reinduction trigger while driving or at work.)

Second, I make the safeword system I use clear in their unconscious mind – ‘green’ means ‘I like this a lot, please do more’, ‘yellow’ means ‘we need to pause and discuss this further, something’s not right’, and ‘red’ means ‘please end the scene now, I am not able to continue’. I then suggest that use of their safewords is involuntary and automatic when they feel like the conditions have been met. (“Like a cough or a sneeze”, as Lady Ru’etha always says.)

And third, I put it a trigger for check-ins; when I say, “Tell me something you need me to know,” the subject involuntarily responds with whatever they most need me to know at that moment. That can be something as simple as, “This feels nice,” as mundane as, “My arm is falling asleep,” or as deep as, “This is emotionally heavy and I need the scene to go somewhere lighter.” Again, it’s like a cough or a sneeze. No effort needed.

And all of these, by the way, come from Lady Ru’etha, who taught me most of what I know about hypnosis and just about everything about subject safety. She’s amazing, and I don’t just say that because I love Her and submit to Her.

Day 6: Funny how pretalk is so far in, what do you do for your pretalk? What do you talk about with your subjects before you start your trance?

Depends on the subject. If it’s someone who I think is already familiar with a lot of the concepts involved, I’ll just go over with them what our goals are, discuss any suggestions or triggers I’d like to implant (usually these have already been negotiated, but it’s always an opportunity to confirm enthusiastic consent) and make sure I understand their hard and soft limits for the session. If it’s someone who’s never been hypnotized before, I’ll discuss expectations, make sure they understand what they’re likely to experience, and go over any concepts they’re not clear about. One of the things I see a lot with people who think that they can’t be hypnotized is that nobody ever told them what hypnosis is like, so they wake up and go, “Well, I can remember everything that happened and I don’t have an inexplicable compulsion to strip naked, so I must not have been in trance after all.”

Day 7: What is your favorite way of inducing a trance? What is your favorite way of being tranced?

I haven’t really thought about this one before! I think my favorite thing is to come up with interesting imagery and cool metaphors for the trance experience. I do that a lot in my erotic writing, and there’s something so cool about finding a particular concept that really clicks in someone’s brain and drops them like a rock. (I don’t mind saying that “Yes (Means It’s Hard to Say No)”, “Quiver and Quake”, and “Quill Pen Feather” are all based on inductions I came up with for play partners.)

My favorite way of being tranced? Hmm. I mean, there’s no real substitute for the classic ‘eye fixation, look at the swaying pendulum’ induction, is there? Even when you understand the theory behind it and know why it’s doing what it’s doing, there’s still that moment of astonishment when you feel your eyelids begin to flutter and experience what feels, intuitively, like a magic spell being performed on you. (Goddess would probably do it to me more often if I could look at Her eyes for more than two seconds when I’m feeling trancey without dropping.)

Day 8: Are you the person who likes to take your time in the inductions? Or are you the person who wants to get into suggestions and triggers right away?

As a hypnotist? Depends on my energy level, to be honest. If I’ve got the spoons, I feel like I want to give them that nice, slow, languorous experience of sinking into trance bit by bit, because that’s always fun. But at the same time, I don’t always have a bespoke induction in my head, ready to go. And there is something so hot about saying a simple phrase and watching someone slump like a broken dolly. It’s kind of a trade-off.

As a subject? Well, my conscious mind says, “Oh, I love a nice, slow, gentle induction that takes a long time and really gives my brain a chance to settle into trance.” My unconscious mind says, “Fuck that, you’ll be out like a light before the end of the second sentence.” Make of that what you will.

Early Bird Sneak Peek: “Boy Problems”!

December 4, 2019

Hi all! It’s time for another Early Bird Sneak Peek, where I share a glimpse at the story my lucky Early Bird patrons will be enjoying next Saturday thanks to their pledges at my Patreon page! Of course, if you’re not an Early Bird patron, you’ll still get a story next week–“Xhalation”, teased previously, has already been submitted to the EMCSA. But the Early Bird patrons will be getting “Boy Problems” (MC MF MD)!

Chouma’s been having problems with the Boys(tm) that have been returned by Revolution customers. They seem aggressively dominant, uncontrollably sexual… sometimes they even act like they’re trying to hypnotize her or something. Her bosses apparently don’t notice that anything’s wrong, but Chouma is beginning to get curious. And it turns out that a little curiosity is a very dangerous thing indeed. Here’s a taste:

The Boy(tm)’s eyes flickered to life, flickering into a strobing pulse of white flashes against a background of deeper blue. Chouma shone a flashlight into each one, checking for signs of dead pixels, before tilting its head back to look into its mouth. “Do you know why you’re here?” she asked, opening and closing its jaw experimentally.

“Because I was categorized as defective,” the Boy replied without moving its lips. That part at least was working as intended; Boys only synchronized their mouth movements to their speech when their jaws weren’t otherwise engaged. The last thing you wanted was a sex robot that couldn’t talk to you when its mouth was full. “I’m currently in a Quality Assurance laboratory, being analyzed for signs of defects.”

He gave Chouma a wink that looked like a flashbulb going off. “I can assure you, I’m not at all defective. Not where it counts, pretty girl.”

Chouma smiled thinly and slid a thin metal rod into the Boy’s ear, probing and twisting until she unlocked the outer chassis of the skull. She didn’t respond; she knew from the last few times she did this that there was pretty much nothing she could say that the Boy wouldn’t turn into an excuse to talk about his penis. Not that she really expected him to have an opinion about current events or anything, but wasn’t the whole point of having a mechanical sex toy that you didn’t want to deal with a guy who bragged about his dick all the time?

Hope you enjoy it!

Liner Notes for November 2019

December 1, 2019

(This post has been brought to you by the efforts of my 130 suave and sophisticated Patrons! Visit my Patreon page to learn how to become one of them.)

December has rolled around, bringing a great heaping wodge of snow with it, so that means it’s time to look back at November’s stories and discuss a few tidbits about the creative process that brought them into being. It’s a full list, so let’s get started, shall we?

Room 126: As I’ve mentioned on occasion, I’m trying to do more M/M stories; I’m not doing them on any official schedule or anything, but I am trying to keep in mind that yes, it’s okay to have these pop up every once in a while. When I wrote this one, as I often do, I started from the title and worked my way inward – I knew that Room 126 was going to be where the protagonist went to be brainwashed, because “Room X” as a title always means that the room itself is of vital importance to the story and what’s more vital to mind control kink than the mind control?

And since the room is important, and the protagonist keeps going back there in response to a post-hypnotic suggestion without realizing it (because that’s always just fucking hot) then the brainwasher must have some way of ensuring that. So from there I came up with the idea of a wealthy man who has the money to basically own a hotel just so he always has the same room free, and who hasn’t spent much time or effort on redecorating anything but “his” room, which he uses to entertain guests. There’s definitely a suggestion that this may be consensual on Ronald’s part, including the amnesia, but I left it just vague enough that people who wanted to imagine themselves as the helpless victim of a sinister mind controller who has his hooks in their brain can do so. And everything else was just, “What would be sexy to me in this kind of situation?”

Vampires Will Never Hurt You: As I’ve mentioned before, it’s sometimes nice to be able to get political through the (in this case tissue-thin) veil of fiction; obviously, this is a satire of the Sinclair Broadcast Group, a right-wing conglomerate that owns a number of television stations across the country and forces them to insert wildly inaccurate conservative propaganda into the local news. It felt simultaneously perverse and wildly entertaining to take the same tropes of the wingnut noise machine and apply them to something like the defense of literal bloodsucking vampires (I was particularly proud of “This is just another case of liberals taking the same old tired attacks and giving them a fresh coat of paint, courtesy of George Soros and his operatives.”)

Zero Percent: I’ve mentioned in the past that one of the things that’s very hot to me is the way that playing a repetitive video game becomes its own kind of hypnotic focus, with your conscious mind juuuuuust engaged enough with gem swapping or piece dropping that you kind of tune out the world around you a little. And I think we’ve all experienced that in the context of a phone battery that’s a bit too low for comfort in a situation where we both a) need the phone for important communications, and b) need to be distracted from the boredom of sitting in a strange place with nothing to do.

But since I wanted to hedge my bets a bit, I decided to hint that a) Chris was the stranger in the story, b) he’d been hypnotizing Stasia already online and over voice chat, and c) he opened the conversation not with a bizarre exclamation, but with a trigger that primed Stasia to respond to this particular fantasy they both had and wanted to play out during their first visit together. Which makes the whole thing both a bit more believable and a bit more comfortable for people who aren’t necessarily into kidnap fantasies.

Cattle and the Creeping Things: As I said above, frequently I start with a title and work my way into the story by filling in the details, and sometimes that process happens very quickly. In this case, as soon as I read the words “The Creeping Things”, I had this immediate mental image of something that looked like a cross between the Gentlemen from Buffy, the Iszs from the Maxx, and Venom from Spider-Man – tall and thin and gangly to the point where its limbs looked too long for its body, jet black all over with nothing on its face but a wide smile full of sharp teeth, and something liquid and dripping about its shape. And I figured, well, if those are the Creeping Things, then we must be the cattle, right? After that, it was just a matter of writing something kind of stream-of-consciousness that hit all the notes I was constructing in my little worldbuilding exercise.

Don’t Fight It: I don’t know why, but this particular notion of mine is one I return to again and again – the idea of an artifact of some sort, a weapon in a conflict far removed from our existence and understanding, that comes to Earth and immediately begins attempting to fulfill its directives without really being capable of comprehending that they don’t apply anymore. And of course chaos ensues. It’s certainly got some antecedents I can point to; “The Twonky” is one I’ve mentioned on occasion, as well as the legend of the Golem and stories like “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice”. There’s something so wonderfully chilling about the idea of rules being applied to you without reason to guide them, and when you add in mind control and sex, that frisson of delicious fear mingles wonderfully with eroticism.

(I hope. I mean, I thought it came out pretty good, and it’s coming close to a 4.5 on Literotica, so some of you must agree with me, right?)

And that’s November in the books! Join me next week for another blog entry, and next month for another Liner Notes!
