Early Bird Sneak Peek: “One Thing Leads to Another”!

June 25, 2015

Hi all! It’s time for another Early Bird Sneak Peek, where I share a glimpse at the story my lucky Early Bird patrons will be enjoying this Saturday thanks to their pledges at my Patreon page! Of course, if you’re not an Early Bird patron, you’ll still get a story this week–“Naturally”, teased as last week’s Early Bird story, has already been submitted to the EMCSA. But the Early Bird patrons will be getting “One Thing Leads to Another”! (MC FF) It’s about Sophie, a young woman at a Christian college, who is getting an explanation from Carol about the dangers of straying from the path of chastity. It’s something of a…participatory demonstration, shall we say?

Here’s a taste:

“Oh, of course not, dear!” Carol responded in saccharine tones. “Nobody ever *plans* for any of these things to happen. But when you get into a bad situation, it’s so easy for it to get out of control. One thing leads to another, and then another, and pretty soon you’re in a place you never intended to be. That’s why I’m here, to help you identify those bad decisions early and avoid them. Here, let’s pretend I’m a boy, and we’re studying together in your room.”

Sophie was still trying to wrap her head around that statement when Carol swiveled slightly to face her on the couch. “Now, I know you would never bring a boy over to your dorm meaning to go ‘all the way’ with him, but it’s so easy for that innocent study session to turn into a mistake without either one of you intending it to happen. It starts with the smallest things–maybe he puts his hand on your knee, for example.” Carol reached out and matched the action to the words.

“Um.” Sophie looked down, not quite sure what to say. Carol’s hand rested on her knee with the kind of familiarity that suggested it had always been there, radiating a pleasant warmth against her skin. “First, I wouldn’t bring a boy to my room. So this,” she pointed to the hand by way of a hint, “simply wouldn’t happen.”

Carol sighed in mock pity. “Oh, if only I could tell you all the times I’ve heard that! So many girls start with good intentions, and the next thing you know, they’re alone with a boy and he’s stroking their leg.” Sophie inhaled a touch sharply–Carol was doing exactly that, petting her in a circular motion that definitely felt a little too intimate. This felt like it might take ‘pretending’ just a bit far.

Hope you enjoy it!

Sneak Peek: “Everybody Wants to Rule the World”! (MC MD FD MF FF CB)

June 18, 2015

Hi everybody! Here’s a sneak peek at this week’s story for the EMCSA, “Everybody Wants to Rule the World”. Adventure Girl is back, and unfortunately for her, this time she’s the target for every sinister villain with a mind control ray, beam, drug, or subliminal message. At once.

Here’s a taste:

She recognized it instantly. “Professor Psyche,” she sighed in relief as the sensations of endless, irresistible pleasure cut off, leaving her free to think again. She didn’t know just what had brought the leader of the Utopians to Pyramid City, but her timing couldn’t be better.

The professor laughed musically as Adventure Girl got to her feet. “Not exactly,” she said. “Although the two of us are very close. Are you familiar with the concept of parallel realities?”

“Yes,” Adventure Girl replied, walking over to the other woman on legs that still felt a little rubbery. On some level, she was still aware of Ultimax’s voice in her ears, whispering commands, just as on some tiny plane of awareness she noticed the continuing stimulation of her erogenous zones. But it was as though a sheet of glass had slid down between her and the part of her mind that Ultimax was influencing. “Are you some sort of…alternate-reality Professor Psyche?”

“Exactly!” the professor responded as Adventure Girl drew closer. “Of course, we’re not identical. Identical DNA, identical abilities, but we had different pasts. My other self came from a…weaker reality, shall we say. A reality where people like me were discouraged from using their powers to their utmost.”

It was then that Adventure Girl realized she hadn’t actually decided to stand up and walk over to the other woman. It had just sort of happened, much the same way that their sudden, passionate kiss just sort of happened. “There are a few other differences, of course,” the other woman spoke without speaking, her lips still pressed against Adventure Girl’s. “Little quirks of history, like our family name.” Adventure Girl tried to pull away, but the volition to break the kiss seemed to be trapped just as surely as the pleasure she received from Ultimax. “You may call me Professor Psycho.”

Hope you enjoy it!

Sneak Peek: “Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend”!

June 4, 2015

This week’s story at the Erotic Mind Control Stories Archive is “Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend”! There’s been a bizarre robbery at a jewelry store, and the culprit appears to have co-opted a Girl(tm)! Detective Adele Franken has a crazy theory about why someone would bring along a sex toy to a theft, but testing it could be riskier than she knows. (MC MF FF FD.)

A brief taste:

From the tone of his voice, Hank was getting all the entertainment value he’d hoped for out of Adele’s reactions. “Store manager’s on video handing the stones right over to another guy, smiling and laughing the whole time. Even bagged ’em up for him. Then he went in the back and smashed up the hard drive with the security footage on it. Lucky for us, the store owner had a backup computer he didn’t tell his employees about.”

Adele sighed, a crooked smile on her face. “I guess there’s just no trust in this world anymore.” Her smile vanished as she got her head around the case. “So the store manager gives the diamonds to his bagman, tries to make it look like a robbery…but then why not try a little harder? Why not act scared, leave the video intact? Why get twenty accomplices involved, and have them all refuse to back up your story?”

“Dunno,” Hank said with a shrug. “Like I said, weird. But I ain’t told you the weirdest thing about it yet.”

“What’s the weirdest thing about it?” Adele asked dutifully. She knew she was feeding Hank a straight line, but she had to know the answer anyway.

“The robber, the guy that got away with the goods?” Hank grinned. “He was walking around with a fucking sex toy.” He paused a moment to revel in her perplexed expression, then elaborated before she could respond. “One of those Girl things. The walking talking robot vibrators, you know? It was following him around the whole damned time.”

Adele sat silently for a long moment. She took another long swig of mochachino. “Let me see the video footage,” she said at last.

Hope you enjoy it!

Sneak Peek: “Back and Forth”!

May 28, 2015

This week’s story at the Erotic Mind Control Stories Archive is “Back and Forth”! Philip is staying with Jane while he’s in the States, but Jane’s away and her friend Caitlyn has a pendant she’s just aching to show him. (MC MF FD.)

A brief taste:

Philip tried to look anywhere but at the necklace. “It’s lovely. Please put it away now,” he said urgently.

“Why?” Caitlyn asked in tones of mock confusion. Then she put a finger to her lips in a show of sudden understanding. “Oh!” she said. “Surely you don’t think I might hypnotize you again!”

Philip swallowed. It took a surprising amount of effort. “I…um, the thought had, um.” He licked his lips nervously, his mouth too dry to wet them effectively. “Briefly occurred to me, yes, but…I mean, I’m sure that this time, now that I’m…on my guard, it wouldn’t…” He caught a glimpse of the pendant swaying gently between Caitlyn’s hanging breasts, and for a long moment he forgot what he was talking about. “Um, affect me,” he said at last.

Hope you enjoy it!

Insert Drumroll Here…

August 19, 2010

So I’ve been fairly quiet about my collaboration with thrall, because I have this crazy weird superstition about talking about unfinished stories. I was like, “If I start talking about it, then I just know that something will happen and we won’t get it done and then I’ll have this whole audience of people waiting for a story that fell apart!” So I kept mum.

But at this point, we put “THE END” on the third story of our trilogy, the work is officially complete, and it’s just a question of polishing it up (both of us are big on rewrites) for publication in the next few weeks. The first story, “A Hazy Shade of Winter”, should pop up at the end of August, and the sequels will follow on into September. It’s FF (yes, thrall and I did an FF story! Quelle surprise!) and features…oh, what can I tell without checking in with thrall…let’s just say that it features bubble baths, dressmakers’ dummies, stolichnaya vodka, and discussions of slavery in Roman times. Oh, and digital cameras. The digital cameras are very important.

The writing process has been very interesting; for those who are curious, we’ve been calling each other up on the phone and chatting as we type into a Google Word document. (I really don’t know how authors did it before shared documents. It’s so handy, being able to switch off on a paragraph-by-paragraph or even a sentence-by-sentence basis.) I’ve been very happy with the collaborative process; you always worry that by the end you won’t be able to stand the sound of each other’s voice, but we’ve been lucky enough to disagree very little and disrespect each other’s disagreements not at all. We even managed to trade off the exciting denouement, where _____ ______s ______ and then ______s her _____, despite knowing _____, without bickering. (Yes, I’m a terrible tease. You only have to put up with it for a few weeks.)

It’s been a lot of work, of course; writing is hard work, no matter what anyone says. But it’s been a labor of love for both of us, and I hope you enjoy reading it as much as we’ve enjoyed writing it.

A Bit About Collaborating

January 20, 2010

As you might have read on thrall’s blog, or for that matter, on mine, we’re working on a story together. (Depending on who you talk to, in fact, we’re working on three stories together. πŸ™‚ Sorry, but I’m never going to get bored with that joke.) She has graciously given me permission to tease as much as I want, so I can say that the first story will be called, “A Hazy Shade of Winter” (I’m so grateful to both of my collaborators for indulging my obsession with song titles!) And it has to do with…

Nah. Not going to go that far. After all, I’m a terrible tease too. πŸ™‚ But I will talk a bit about our collaborative process, since I can do that without giving too much away (and because I’m still not quite ready to tell you the other thing Lady Ru’etha brainwashed me into enjoying…)

This all came about at the infamous meet-up between myself, thrall, and Lady Ru’etha that all three of us have blogged about. Lady Ru’etha mentioned She’d really like to see the two of us collaborate…and as you might have guessed, that was something that really got both our attentions by that point in the weekend. thrall discussed a story idea she’d been batting around about a ******* that ****ed *****, and it sounded interesting and unique and as someone who loves interesting, unique ideas, I wanted in. πŸ™‚

This isn’t to say there weren’t hurdles. You’d think the whole “she writes nigh-apocalyptically dark stories about the total enslavement of whole worlds, and I get weepy when my main character gets a paper cut” thing might be a hurdle, but not so much as you might imagine. πŸ™‚ No, the big hurdle is that I work nights, and she works days. We’ve got about a two-hour window to write in any given session, and even that involves letting the phone wake me up instead of my alarm (something I ritually assure her is just fine, and she ritually apologizes for.)

“Phone?” you ask. “Phone,” I respond. The way we collaborate is, she calls me up on the phone, with her on a speakerphone and me on a hands-free headset, and we both open up a Google Document at the same time. Then we take turns writing, a few paragraphs at a time, while we discuss what we see taking shape on the screen. (Some of these discussions get a little…odd. I don’t think anyone would expect two writers of explicit erotica to be worrying over whether someone sitting on the floor could see over the edge of a bed. πŸ™‚ This was actually solved by the two of us getting up, going to our respective beds, and sitting down next to them, by the way.)

This is a huge, wonderful advantage in collaborating, because it means the story really does take shape with both of our inputs at once. We’re not breaking it up into “you write this, I’ll write that” sections, or trading off as the perspectives shift; we’re writing together fairly seamlessly, so that in the end, I doubt anyone will be able to tell who wrote what bits. (Which is also true, by the way, of “Joy To the World”, my second collaboration with Lady Ru’etha. Anyone who thinks that Lynn’s bits were Her and Michael’s bits were me needs to work harder on their guessing skills. πŸ™‚ )

It’s been a fun experience for both of us (well, it’s been a fun experience for me, and if she’s complaining, she’s doing it after I hang up πŸ™‚ ); I’m not sure how I stack up against her other, quite illustrious collaborators, but for my part I think she’s doing a great job putting up with my idiosyncracies. I really look forward to seeing what people think of the final result…

…assuming she doesn’t read this and decide never to speak to me again, of course. πŸ™‚
