What Happened Next: Miss You

June 26, 2015

I don’t do it often, but every once in a while I share what happened after the words “THE END” in one of my stories. I usually try to leave it at a very specific place to create a very specific emotional resonance, but that doesn’t mean that the characters’ lives ended where the story did. And while I fully support the emotional right of my audience to imagine anything they want after the place I left off, that doesn’t mean I don’t have an opinion. This time, I’m going to share with you my thoughts on what happened after the end of “Miss You”. (If you don’t remember the story, you may want to refresh your memory of it here.)

From the Wikipedia entry on “Dr. Martens”:

The first Dr. Martens boots in the United Kingdom came out on 1 April 1960 (known as style 1460 and still in production today), with an eight-eyelet oxblood coloured smooth leather design. Dr. Martens boots were made in their Cobbs Lane factory in Wollaston, Northamptonshire (which is still operating today).[3] In addition, a number of shoe manufacturers in the Northamptonshire area produced DM’s under license, as long as they passed quality standards. The boots were popular among workers such as postmen, police officers and factory workers. By the early 1970s, skinheads started wearing them, and by the late 1980s, they were popular among scooter riders, punks, some new wave musicians, and members of other youth subcultures.[5] The shoes’ popularity among skinheads led to the brand gaining an association with violence.[5] Alexei Sayle sang the song “Dr. Martens’ Boots” in a 1982 episode of the British TV comedy The Young Ones.

What the Wikipedia entry failed to mention was that many styles of Doc Martens, including in particular the ones that Fujiko wore constantly, had steel toes. Not that she’d selected them for that–she worked in a coffee shop, and had very few concerns about heavy things landing on her feet–but the particular style she liked was a work boot, and steel toes were part of the package. It made dancing a bit more dangerous, but most of her friends had learned to give her a bit of a wide berth when the music got energetic. Fuji might not have been tall, but heavy, steel-toed Doc Marten work boots turned her feet into deadly, if inaccurate and usually inadvertent weapons on the dance floor.

At this range, though, accuracy wasn’t a problem. Fujiko’s steel-toed Doc Martens made a very satisfying *THUMP* as they connected with Roger’s genitals, and he crumpled to the floor as if he’d been shot.

Cho still didn’t let go of Fujiko, though. She hadn’t been commanded to yet. She kept Fujiko’s arms pinned to her sides as she held her with an inhuman determination, apparently oblivious to her surroundings. This turned out to be unfortunate for Roger, as it meant that Fujiko could kick him with both feet. “You! Stupid! Idiotic! Dumbass! Jerk!” Fujiko shouted, her words punctuated by another steel-toed blow. “GRR!”

After a few moments, when it became clear that Roger’s interests had changed from ‘hypnotizing Fujiko’ to ‘protecting his face and genitals’, Fuji reached awkwardly into her pocket for her cell phone. It wasn’t entirely easy, because she couldn’t move her arms very well, but after a few moments she managed to pull it out. She dialed 911 and shouted as loudly as she could towards the phone she still couldn’t put to her mouth, “Hi! I’m at the Palace Hills apartments–I can’t remember the apartment number but it belongs to Roger Wilding–and I came to talk to him but he won’t let me leave!” She heard a response, and shouted back, “I can’t hear you–my arms are pinned and I can’t put the phone to my ear! Can you send someone?” The response this time was still garbled, but loud enough and filled with enough concern that Fuji could pick up the gist of it. “No,” she said, giving Roger another kick, “I’m not in immediate danger.”

The police turned out to be a little more amused about the whole thing than Fuji thought they should be. Roger whispered something in Cho’s ear and she let Fujiko go, and he mumbled something through an already-swollen face about how his girlfriend and his ex-girlfriend got into a fight and he got in the way of it. The responding officer didn’t look like he was buying it much, since neither Fuji nor Cho had a scratch on them, but he dutifully asked if Roger wanted to press charges against either of the four-and-a-half foot tall girls who had apparently beaten him up “by accident”. Unsurprisingly, Roger declined.

“Alright, then,” Fujiko said. “Looks like we’re leaving.”

“We?” said the officer, Cho, and Roger more or less simultaneously. The officer just looked bemused; Fuji was pretty sure he was going to be telling this one back at the station. Cho looked baffled, and more than a little bit dazed; she seemed like she was still in her happy place a bit. And Roger was giving her the puppy eyes in bulk volume.

“We,” Fujiko said, definitively. She looked Roger in the eyes with a challenging stare. “Do you have an issue with that? One that you’d like to hash out in detail right now?”

Roger looked down, suddenly seeming very conscious of the officer’s presence. “No,” he said. “It’s okay, she’s…um, you know, she’s her own person. She can do what she wants.” Hearing that made Fujiko want to start kicking him again, but she tamped it down.

Cho said, “If I get a say in this–”

Fujiko shook her head. “No, I really don’t think that’s a good idea. Let’s go.” She took Cho’s hand, counting on the fact that Cho still sounded a little spacey and had spent who-knows-how-long being conditioned to accept people telling her what to do. Sure enough, Cho meekly let herself be trotted out to the parking lot and bundled into Fujiko’s car. They waved to the officer, who probably thought they were twin sisters or something, and pulled out.

Cho still had that look of bemusement on her face that made Fujiko want to give her a big hug and tell her everything was going to be okay. “What about Roger?” she asked, her voice slightly plaintive. “Is he going to be okay?”

Fujiko tried to push her anger at Roger aside and focus on the person beside her. “Let’s let Roger worry about Roger for a little while. You need to take some time for yourself, Cho.”

“…cho…” She sounded a little lost when she heard the name, like she was having difficulty connecting it to herself. Fujiko made a mental note to go look up some books on hypnosis when she got back to the apartment–she hadn’t planned on taking in strays, but Cho needed someone.

She reached over and took the other woman’s hand in hers. “Cho,” she said, “everything really is going to be okay.” It wasn’t a hug, but it’d have to do.

Early Bird Sneak Peek: “One Thing Leads to Another”!

June 25, 2015

Hi all! It’s time for another Early Bird Sneak Peek, where I share a glimpse at the story my lucky Early Bird patrons will be enjoying this Saturday thanks to their pledges at my Patreon page! Of course, if you’re not an Early Bird patron, you’ll still get a story this week–“Naturally”, teased as last week’s Early Bird story, has already been submitted to the EMCSA. But the Early Bird patrons will be getting “One Thing Leads to Another”! (MC FF) It’s about Sophie, a young woman at a Christian college, who is getting an explanation from Carol about the dangers of straying from the path of chastity. It’s something of a…participatory demonstration, shall we say?

Here’s a taste:

“Oh, of course not, dear!” Carol responded in saccharine tones. “Nobody ever *plans* for any of these things to happen. But when you get into a bad situation, it’s so easy for it to get out of control. One thing leads to another, and then another, and pretty soon you’re in a place you never intended to be. That’s why I’m here, to help you identify those bad decisions early and avoid them. Here, let’s pretend I’m a boy, and we’re studying together in your room.”

Sophie was still trying to wrap her head around that statement when Carol swiveled slightly to face her on the couch. “Now, I know you would never bring a boy over to your dorm meaning to go ‘all the way’ with him, but it’s so easy for that innocent study session to turn into a mistake without either one of you intending it to happen. It starts with the smallest things–maybe he puts his hand on your knee, for example.” Carol reached out and matched the action to the words.

“Um.” Sophie looked down, not quite sure what to say. Carol’s hand rested on her knee with the kind of familiarity that suggested it had always been there, radiating a pleasant warmth against her skin. “First, I wouldn’t bring a boy to my room. So this,” she pointed to the hand by way of a hint, “simply wouldn’t happen.”

Carol sighed in mock pity. “Oh, if only I could tell you all the times I’ve heard that! So many girls start with good intentions, and the next thing you know, they’re alone with a boy and he’s stroking their leg.” Sophie inhaled a touch sharply–Carol was doing exactly that, petting her in a circular motion that definitely felt a little too intimate. This felt like it might take ‘pretending’ just a bit far.

Hope you enjoy it!

Putting the “Fetish” Into “Fetish Porn”

June 19, 2015

I’ve mentioned on occasion that I post my stories to Literotica, a “general interest” erotica site, in addition to the EMCSA. That’s an interesting thing to do, because a “general interest” erotica site means a wider audience, and I get a much wider range of reactions than I do when I post to Simon’s site. Broadly speaking, though, there are two basic types of reactions I get to my writing when I post it to Literotica. (This is a point where I briefly aside to mention that one of the things I really like about Literotica is the fact that I get page counts, ratings and commentary in addition to fan mail. It’s very interesting to see more about what people like more and like less about my writing.)

The people who like it more tend to react as you’d expect. “That was really hot, I enjoyed that a lot, it made me squirm/do naughty things to myself/do naughty things to my significant other,” et cetera. YAY! Always good to hear that my stories made people happy, especially when it made them much happier than most other people get when reading someone’s work.

The people who like it less (not necessarily dislike it, although there are a few) tend to react with, “That was pretty hot. Why did you stop just when you were getting to the sex?” Or, depending on the story, “Why don’t you do a sequel with more sex?” And that’s where things get a little awkward, because even though I’m certainly not averse to writing sex scenes in my erotica (it’d be odd if I was), that’s not actually what they’re about…and the people who want tons of sex are probably going to be disappointed more often than not.

Because what I write is ultimately fetish porn. And the thing about a fetish that a lot of people who are kinky but not necessarily fetishists don’t always get is that for a fetishist, the fetish object itself is inherently sexual. It’s not the foreplay, if you’ll forgive the metaphor, it’s the actual act. This is vitally important to understand when you’re dealing with fetish porn, because if you don’t share the fetish, or if the fetish is very mild for you, you’re probably going to get impatient with the porn sooner or later.

In fetish porn, the whole point is to depict the activity that the fetishist is into. Other things may happen–certainly it will involve sex or be placed into a sexual context, because the person watching it is getting an erotic charge out of the fact that a behavior that’s usually subtly or accidentally placed into a sexual context is now being done so explicitly. But the point is the activity, not the sex. If you’re a foot fetishist, for example (and feet seem to be the default public setting for the trope of “fetish”–any time you see someone in mainstream media with a fetish, it’s always for feet and shoes) and you’re watching a video produced for hardcore fetishists, you’re probably going to be watching a lot of feet. They may be the feet of a naked person, being kissed/licked/sucked by another naked person, but the focus is going to be on the feet the entire time. They’re not going to start with the feet and work their way along into regular fucking; the video will be all about the feet.

Now, you may also see less hardcore fetish videos where they do eventually get to the fucking, because the audience is wider for porn about sex than it is for porn specifically catering to a fetish, but the hardcore fetishist probably rewinds to the foot worship stuff every time after the first. Because if you’re a genuine fetishist (and there’s nothing wrong with you if you are, by the way) then the erotic fixation is on the fetish more than the sex, possibly even to the exclusion of the sex.

In other words, as a mind control fetishist, I get off on depictions of hypnosis. I actually am far more interested in the hypnosis scenes in an erotic mind control story than I am in the scenes where various people indulge in different insertions of one piece of anatomy into another; I will write sex scenes, because I want to make it clear that this is hypnosis in a sexual setting rather than just a wink and a nod at the sex or a scene that isn’t intended to be sexual but becomes so to me because I fetishize hypnosis (*cough* ‘A Wrinkle in Time’ *cough*). But ultimately, I am writing these stories for people who are cumming their brains out just reading about people sinking into trance.

I do feel sorry for the people who come to my stories (as opposed to the people who cum to my stories) looking for sex, because they’re probably going to feel a bit teased when the sex is an afterthought…just like the people who watch foot worship videos probably spend the whole time wondering, “When is he going to stop kissing her feet and fuck her?” But I do feel happy knowing that for the people like me, who get inordinately turned on just by thinking about glassy eyes and monotone voices, this is some fucking hardcore shit. Because there’s a lot of sex out there, but fetishists can never get enough good stuff that caters to their specific kink.

Sneak Peek: “Everybody Wants to Rule the World”! (MC MD FD MF FF CB)

June 18, 2015

Hi everybody! Here’s a sneak peek at this week’s story for the EMCSA, “Everybody Wants to Rule the World”. Adventure Girl is back, and unfortunately for her, this time she’s the target for every sinister villain with a mind control ray, beam, drug, or subliminal message. At once.

Here’s a taste:

She recognized it instantly. “Professor Psyche,” she sighed in relief as the sensations of endless, irresistible pleasure cut off, leaving her free to think again. She didn’t know just what had brought the leader of the Utopians to Pyramid City, but her timing couldn’t be better.

The professor laughed musically as Adventure Girl got to her feet. “Not exactly,” she said. “Although the two of us are very close. Are you familiar with the concept of parallel realities?”

“Yes,” Adventure Girl replied, walking over to the other woman on legs that still felt a little rubbery. On some level, she was still aware of Ultimax’s voice in her ears, whispering commands, just as on some tiny plane of awareness she noticed the continuing stimulation of her erogenous zones. But it was as though a sheet of glass had slid down between her and the part of her mind that Ultimax was influencing. “Are you some sort of…alternate-reality Professor Psyche?”

“Exactly!” the professor responded as Adventure Girl drew closer. “Of course, we’re not identical. Identical DNA, identical abilities, but we had different pasts. My other self came from a…weaker reality, shall we say. A reality where people like me were discouraged from using their powers to their utmost.”

It was then that Adventure Girl realized she hadn’t actually decided to stand up and walk over to the other woman. It had just sort of happened, much the same way that their sudden, passionate kiss just sort of happened. “There are a few other differences, of course,” the other woman spoke without speaking, her lips still pressed against Adventure Girl’s. “Little quirks of history, like our family name.” Adventure Girl tried to pull away, but the volition to break the kiss seemed to be trapped just as surely as the pleasure she received from Ultimax. “You may call me Professor Psycho.”

Hope you enjoy it!

The Big Question

June 13, 2015

As you may or may not be aware, one of my milestones on my Patreon page was the promise that I’d use this site for more than a weekly sneak peek at my next story. My Patrons, being wonderful and generous people, have met this milestone, meaning I now need to start coming up with stuff to talk about.

Luckily, there’s something I’ve been meaning to talk about for a while, if only because I figured someone would ask me this question someday, possibly in quite heated tones, and I wanted to have an answer all ready for them that wasn’t written when I was feeling defensive. So let’s talk about the big question: Why do I write this stuff, and why do I think it’s sexy?

Because let’s face it, I have written some pretty terrible stuff. I’ve written about characters being depersonalized, turned into whores, made into obedient fuckdolls, robbed for their ability to meaningfully consent and then used for the sexual pleasure of another, and in at least a few cases literally raped…all things that in real life, I despise and have quite vocally protested against. I identify as a feminist, I have on several occasions gotten quite snippy with people who treat women with anything less than respect for their intelligence and right to agency, and yet here I am writing a story about a guy who turned a lesbian cop into his second housewife. (Admittedly, I did write a sequel in which he got shot in the head, but karmic retribution is decidedly the exception and not the rule to my work.) And worse, I’m expecting people to get off on it. Am I a terrible person, or a hypocrite?

The answer is no. Or at least, I think the answer is no. Because the thing about human sexuality is that it’s messy. I know plenty of women who are feminists in real life, who are bad-ass women who take shit from nobody personally or professionally, who nonetheless fantasize about being raped. Not just being hypnotized or brainwashed into wanting it, but being physically coerced into sex acts that they would not do. I know macho guys who have fantasies about being tied down and forced to suck cock. I know all sorts of people with sexual fantasies just as bad as mine, if not worse. Many of them write them down, just like I do. Lots of them have orgasms thinking about it. And you know what? That’s fine because they, like me, know the difference between fantasy and reality.

Because ultimately, that’s what fantasy is for, especially in kink. A fantasy is a safe space we create in order to explore a sexual desire that it may not be safe to fulfill in reality, in order to learn about what turns us on so much about it. The fantasy itself does not have to be safe (it doesn’t have to be unsafe, either…some of the best fantasies are ones we explore to get ready to fulfill in reality) because it only happens within the confines of imagination. That means we can do terrible things…or have terrible things done to us…without shame, guilt or fear. Because none of that is real.

In the case of mind control fantasies, what you may learn is that you enjoy the idea of powerlessness. Or you may enjoy the idea of taking on a different persona, one that doesn’t have responsibilities and isn’t weighted down by the need to make big decisions. Or you might like the idea of having sexual urges so strong that they feel like they come from outside you and take possession of you, overriding any sense of propriety you might have. Or you might find that you like the adrenalin rush that comes from having sex in a dangerous situation. Or you might just find vampires sexy. Exploring those desires in a safe space isn’t bad, and it doesn’t make you a bad person. It doesn’t mean you want them to happen to you, or to someone else, in the real world. It doesn’t mean you’re ever obligated to act on those fantasies if you find yourself in a situation where they could play out for real, just because you imagined them. Reality is different from fantasy. For one thing, reality has consequences.

And I write these stories to explore fantasies. Some of them are more “realistic” than others–sometimes I imagine some of the consequences of those fantasies, other times I leave things blissfully consequence-free. Sometimes the things I describe could be done in real life, other times they’re cartoonishly unbelievable. But they’re all there for you to explore as safe spaces, places you can go into when you want and leave freely if you don’t like them. They’re not meant to describe the person I am, although they do come from me. They are, ultimately, there to be enjoyed.

I hope you enjoy them.

Sneak Peek: “Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend”!

June 4, 2015

This week’s story at the Erotic Mind Control Stories Archive is “Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend”! There’s been a bizarre robbery at a jewelry store, and the culprit appears to have co-opted a Girl(tm)! Detective Adele Franken has a crazy theory about why someone would bring along a sex toy to a theft, but testing it could be riskier than she knows. (MC MF FF FD.)

A brief taste:

From the tone of his voice, Hank was getting all the entertainment value he’d hoped for out of Adele’s reactions. “Store manager’s on video handing the stones right over to another guy, smiling and laughing the whole time. Even bagged ’em up for him. Then he went in the back and smashed up the hard drive with the security footage on it. Lucky for us, the store owner had a backup computer he didn’t tell his employees about.”

Adele sighed, a crooked smile on her face. “I guess there’s just no trust in this world anymore.” Her smile vanished as she got her head around the case. “So the store manager gives the diamonds to his bagman, tries to make it look like a robbery…but then why not try a little harder? Why not act scared, leave the video intact? Why get twenty accomplices involved, and have them all refuse to back up your story?”

“Dunno,” Hank said with a shrug. “Like I said, weird. But I ain’t told you the weirdest thing about it yet.”

“What’s the weirdest thing about it?” Adele asked dutifully. She knew she was feeding Hank a straight line, but she had to know the answer anyway.

“The robber, the guy that got away with the goods?” Hank grinned. “He was walking around with a fucking sex toy.” He paused a moment to revel in her perplexed expression, then elaborated before she could respond. “One of those Girl things. The walking talking robot vibrators, you know? It was following him around the whole damned time.”

Adele sat silently for a long moment. She took another long swig of mochachino. “Let me see the video footage,” she said at last.

Hope you enjoy it!

Sneak Peek: “Back and Forth”!

May 28, 2015

This week’s story at the Erotic Mind Control Stories Archive is “Back and Forth”! Philip is staying with Jane while he’s in the States, but Jane’s away and her friend Caitlyn has a pendant she’s just aching to show him. (MC MF FD.)

A brief taste:

Philip tried to look anywhere but at the necklace. “It’s lovely. Please put it away now,” he said urgently.

“Why?” Caitlyn asked in tones of mock confusion. Then she put a finger to her lips in a show of sudden understanding. “Oh!” she said. “Surely you don’t think I might hypnotize you again!”

Philip swallowed. It took a surprising amount of effort. “I…um, the thought had, um.” He licked his lips nervously, his mouth too dry to wet them effectively. “Briefly occurred to me, yes, but…I mean, I’m sure that this time, now that I’m…on my guard, it wouldn’t…” He caught a glimpse of the pendant swaying gently between Caitlyn’s hanging breasts, and for a long moment he forgot what he was talking about. “Um, affect me,” he said at last.

Hope you enjoy it!

A Brief Apology/Reassurance

November 3, 2011

To anyone who might have been worried about me: No, I didn’t suffer some sort of terrible injury that left me incapable of posting a story last week, and no, this is not the beginning of the end for the Jukebox oeuvre on the EMCSA. I just got completely wrapped up in getting ‘Classic Jukebox’ ready for publication, and by the time I had it all done and Friday rolled around, I had utterly forgotten that I hadn’t sent a story off to Simon, because that’s what I always do! Except, obviously, that I didn’t. 🙂

I have already sent off this week’s story, so normal service is definitely resuming, and rest assured I’ve still got a nice long backlog ahead of me! And in the next couple of weeks, when I publish my next anthology (hint, hint…) I will try not to skip another week.

“Classic Jukebox” Now Available For Purchase!

October 28, 2011

At long last! The third chronological volume of my stories, long-delayed (I wanted to wait for the perfect cover, and wouldn’t you know it Sue-Chan obliged me perfectly!) is finally available for purchase! Finally, some of my strongest, sexiest, most classic stories (if, you know, you like them that is) are available in print or ebook form in a single collected volume! And what could make this better? That is to say, what could make this even better than twenty-one of my stories all wrapped up in a beautiful Sue-Chan cover? How about a foreword by the divine Goddess Herself, Lady Ru’etha? Because yes, it’s in there.

And which classic stories make up “Classic Jukebox”? Read on!

The Joke In Last Week’s Story

September 15, 2011

For those of you not paying attention (I know some of the people who read this blog also buy my books, and it’s distinctly possible that you lost track of when exactly the underprivileged get to read my stories) this week’s update was “Yesterday”. (I will resist the temptation to point out that it was actually Saturday.) The story is based on the Beatles song, and there is a reference to it in there…but probably not the one you think.

Back in the 80s, you see, there was a wonderful syndicated comic strip called “Bloom County”, a personal favorite of mine that also happened to perfectly capture the zeitgeist of the Reagan era. And as you may or may not recall, depending on your age, one of the big elements of the 80s zeitgeist was MTV.

“Bloom County” had an excellent strip about MTV; in it, one of the characters talks about how he used to love the song “Yesterday”. ‘It made me think of porpoises frolicking under Antarctic rainbows,’ he says. ‘Then I saw the video on MTV. It was full of explosions and half-naked women slinking around. You know what I think of now when I hear that song?’

And anyone who read last week’s story knows the answer… ‘Half-naked exploding porpoises!’

See? I told you there was a reference. 🙂
